TELEHEALTH: 

COVID-19 changed the way that most people access health care. Before the pandemic, Dr. Patti only saw people in-person at his office in Orange, CA. In early 2020 he transitioned to a telehealth practice meeting with people, couples and families on Zoom, Teams, and FaceTime. 

IN-PERSON:  

Dr. Patti is now able to meet with individuals, couples and families at his private practice office in Orange, California. The office is conveniently located near the CHAPMAN UNIVERSITY CAMPUS on North Glassell Street.  

• COVID Precautions: Office surfaces are regularly disinfected with Lysol products.
• HEPA Air Purifiers keep the environment bacteria and virus free.

Currently, Dr. Patti is only able to see patients in California as his license is in this state. There are efforts being made to grant out-of-state privileges to mental health providers, and if this is successful, Dr. Patti will start offering services in other states.

Dr. Patti is not on any insurance panels. If you would like to use your health insurance to help with the cost of psychotherapy there are a few things you will want to keep in mind:

• HMO Insurance almost always requires their insured to see providers within their network.
• PPO Insurance often allows their insured to see any licensed therapist and will reimburse them for a large or small percentage of the usual and customary fee.
• KAISER PERMANENTE: Dr. Patti is unable to see Kaiser members in private practice as he is the Lead Gender Therapist for KP Orange County.
• INSURANCE REIMBURSEMENT: You can expect to pay for each psychotherapy session at the end of each meeting. If requested, Dr. Patti is happy to provide you with a SUPERBILL that you can submit to your PPO insurance for reimbursement. Of course, if you are requesting your PPO insurance to reimburse you for the cost of psychotherapy, they may require access to your medical records including your diagnosis.  Not every diagnosis is reimbursed according to your health insurance plan. Often Couples Therapy is not a reimbursable service but check with your health insurance to be certain.  
• Credit Cards Accepted including Health Care Spending Accounts.
