Estrogen - Feminizing GAHT

Transgender Females and Feminine Leaning Nonbinary adults and adolescents are often prescribed ESTROGEN, a common form of Gender Affirming Hormone Therapy (GAHT).  

Unlike the reversible changes associated with hormone blockers, ESTROGEN has some temporary and many permanent and irreversible outcomes:

1. Does NOT raise the voice
2. Face and Body Hair may lessen
3. Fuller hair but rarely reverses hair loss
4. Loss of muscle mass 
5. Redistribution of body fat
6. Infertility (loss of ability to conceive biological children).

Before beginning GAHT, Fertility Preservation is recommended to reserve the option of future fertility.
