After puberty, adults and adolescents often seek Gender Affirming Hormone Therapy (GAHT). Like Blockers, minors need parental permission to begin GAHT.
Upon completion of a gender assessment, people diagnosed with gender dysphoria seek GAHT for both temporary and permanent secondary sex characteristics that align with their affirmed gender.
